Mr. Dakgalbi in Malacca (Review)

April 12, 2018

Hello guys!

Its been a while since my last post which is last year. I would like to apologize for not updating my blog for more than 4 months.

Anyhow, before I write anything about what was happening since January 2018, just let me share something delightful and mouth-watering with you guys!

Have you ever heard about Mr. Dakgalbi? It's one of the restaurants that provides Korean foods here.

I have got a lot of recommendation from my friends so yeah why not!!!!

Let's give it a try, shall we?

AEON Bandaraya Melaka Branch
We ordered Fried Rice Set RM 71
Since we were 3 people, so we ordered Fried Rice 3 Pax Set. The set includes:

  • Fried Rice 3 Pax
  • 1 Ramen
  • 2 Cheese
  • 1 small plate Kimchi
  • 1 small plate Salad
  • Soup 3 Pax

Honestly, the portion was not enough since we were all so starving (we had not taken our dinner yet). I think the portion is just enough for 2 starving people hahahaha... for the drink, we took mineral water since the food price was quite pricey so yeah clear water would be great too...

The chicken looks so juicy and tasty!
They cook the rice right in front your eyes!
Almost there!
Bon Appetit!
So how about the taste????

I would give 7/10. There are some reasons why I gave that rate:

  1. I was imagining the rice will be so sticky since it is cooked with cheese but it was not so sticky.
  2. The ramen is just like the normally fried noodle with extra seasoning hahaha...
  3. Sometimes I think it's a bit overprice because there was no special thing is served except for the small pot of kimchi and salad that is absolutely not enough for 3 pax. (Honestly, Seoul Garden would be a better choice)
  4. However, the overall taste was great. It's just my high expectation of it that makes me feel a bit disappointed.
Well maybe I was expecting too much and my friends' comments were tremendously convinced me that the food tastes so great.

I'm sorry I cannot give more comments on the taste because it is just more or less like our own food. In short, nothing so special that I can point out.

Will I recommend it to you guys??

Well if you never taste it, I think you should try it at least once in your life. There is nothing to lose, at least you have the experience to tell your friends hahahaha.

So that's all my experiences and comments on Mr. Dakgalbi. I'm sorry if my comments hurt any party but this is my honest review.

Maybe I should order the Main Course Set for my second time.

Feel free to share your comments below!!! I believe many people would love to read about it.
