Aaron watches the sea, lost in the rhythmic percussion of waves on sand. His eyes are steady to the horizon, face aglow with the last orange rays before twilight beckons the stars. His lips bear the semblance of a smile, just enough to show that he is enjoying his thoughts, whatever they may be. Lucy moves closer so that he feels her presence, yet stays quiet, allowing him to stay lost in the moment a while longer.
Lost in the scene? Be hold! I have something to tell you. Since the beginning, Amerzing is just a small abandoned site that no one knows. No friends, no acquaintance and not support. Today, I decided to show my gratitude to these guys that I adore, their words and their thought.
There is no doubt, each one of them holds different unique characteristic that make me catastrophically recommend them to you. It's kind of a bloglist but it's built by my own willing and some reviews. I hope you guys like it!
1. SEORANG SYED
Such an idol! He is a graduate from Institute of Teacher Education International Languages Campus. (English teacher literally... I hope he won't spot my grammatical errors hehehe) What special about his blog is he love to share, to share about his life experiences and some tips that might help in our daily life. He promised in his first post to not acting like a teacher in his blog, but I think most of his posts he still writes like a teacher hahahaha.. No offence :p
She is so friendly. I had had a personal email conversation with her, asking for some tips how to be an Adsense publisher. Can you imagine? I asked about 4 sentences, then she replied more that 4 paragraphs. Fuhh... penat den nok baca... She is great, really! I don't know how she did but she just did it. She had organized her own Giveaway contest (that I didn't join *sobb) and she got like an enormous crowd that want to join it. And also such an idol!
Can I say this is my "Perpustakaan Bergerak"? because she is superb in reviewing books. I often stalk her blog when I seek for new book for my List of Book To Be Read... or maybe not hehehe. She said "Reading is one way to escape reality into the imagination world with the books I read." and I absolutely agreed. Her English... thorboek!!! But hey! do you eat book? because people says book lover is an "Ulat Buku" hmm. Don't close to my books then! Hahahahhaa
4. ANA SUHANA
If just now is "Perpustakaan Bergerak" but this one is "Second Tripadvisor" hahahaha.. pandai2 je nak namakan orang kan, sorry2. But it's true though. Her site is likely a travelogue. She mostly shares her travel experiences and sometime foods review. My first love on her blog was her review on Alor Setar that totally caught my eyes and attention to scroll more. Yelahkan.. chek orang Kedah hehehe.
5. KHAIDIR KHAIZUKI
The winner of Blog Pengguna Malaysia!!!!! Wow, congrats bro! As what you read, his blog is fulled with Pengguna Malaysia needs. For example, Permohonan Melanjutkan Pengajian Ke Timur Tengah Sesi 2017/2018 Dibuka (Mesir,Jordan,Morocco). Hahahaha no doubt he got the first place right. What I love about his blog is he writes what he wants to tell people, I meant, he talks what he should talk, what he feels it's right and what he thinks it's beneficial. Nice!
6. SIS HAWA
A lovely mom yet a great blogger designer. I love her passion and her spirit on blogging. Even though she has another important responsible like family and career, but she still can manage her time to blog and share some thought. Not everyone can have that kind of spirit tho. By the way, as stated above, she is superb in designing blog template and others. Maybe one day you can get her service!
If you want to find any tips, he is the one! There is a lot of TIPS TIPS TIPS TIPS words from A to Z that you can find once your are in his blog. I like his blog. He loves to share his knowledge with the readers. There is several tutorials on learning different languages and how to become a better blogger. He is also one of the men that willing to help me to be an Adsense publisher, but unfortunately, I'm still not one of them hmmm *prayforme :')
For those who are not in this post, please... I didn't mean anything. One day, when my heart is opened and I already have enough courage to throw a bloglist / giveaway contest party publicly, I will surely invite you to join it, because you guys are everything to me. :')
When writing narrative for your SPM screwed you, just remember that you can spoiled it too. When I was in SPM years, I love writing but writing didn't love me hm. Sometime, I modified and rewrote the sample essay given by my English teacher and somehow I'm proud of it. Hahahahahaha...
The title is "Tissue"
Whenever people ask me for some tissues, I'll blush badly. I can't remember even a millisecond to forget about the incident. It seemed like it was happening just last night.
It was a cloudless night, the stars shone like a sparkling diamond in the dark sky. It just perfect. I was preparing myself in the best look with my red blouse, a pair of black heels and my late mother's necklace. She gave me at the time she passed away. Actually, I don't have any jewelry as I'm not that type of woman and I don't give a damn about it. I'm a superwoman... who wear that "thing" inside. *shake my head
That night was the night. I will meet my future adorable, handsome, tall and dark husband's parent. No offence. A few butterflies started flying in my stomach but I had remember a lot of lines and done some mock meeting sessions with my roommate. We had predicted some possible questions tho.
I threw my glance outside the window while I was styling my hair and OH MY GOD!!, David's car just arrived. "Pssshh...pssshh...Damn! It's not my hair spray", I sprayed perfume onto my hair without my intention.
People says, "Don't worry often, it will give a small thing a big silhouette. So, "Calm Gwen...You can do this. Hupss!!"
Twenty five and two second later, we arrived at the rendezvous. David's parent were already there. The eyes looked at me and of course it was annoying. I tried to be positive as I can, sit properly and smile. :)
With all courage that I had, I managed to tell them my name and... yes, my full name.. hehe... Whatever, they kept staring at me especially his dad but I thought I had hide my boobs hmm.. too bad.
The meals were served after a few minutes. It was a Fish Head Curry. Oh my god I couldn't control myself, in a jiffy I took the head of the plate then put it in mine. "What a wonderful head"
David was shocked, the parent was shocked even the waiters were shocked when they saw my action. Well I was shocked too, I didn't expect they will serve it. Hahahaha... David started to break the ice between us. The parent also started to ask me abundant of questions. They asked about my family, career etc. I barely felt just nice because I have prepared for this. Thanks Alicia for the mock meeting huh.
But, suddenly my stomach changed the beating rhythm, from ballad to mellow rock. The day wasn't my day as I realized the present of ladyfingers in the curry. I allergic to that godforsaken vegetable for real. My stomach started bubbling.
The air pressure in my stomach was increasing tremendously plus the butterflies gave offspring make it more crowded. The air pressure was getting stronger. I can hold it! I can! I can! I clenched my fits and gritted my teeth.
"Are you alright, Gwen?", David asked.
"Yes, I'm okay." ... "Preekkkkkkk!!!!"
I'm done. I was totally a dead body at that time. The explosion might reach about 23 Hz I guess. The three heads turned at me with an anxious sight.
"Excuse me" I ran to the toilet and came back to the seat. At the time, 8:30 p.m specifically, I accidentally knocked against David's father hand and the glass stumbled, splashed its content on him. In grate haste, I offered him some tissues as my apologies, but David's father was looking at me intently with very big round opened eyes. I was puzzled. Why?
I looked down and only then my eyes caught that it wasn't a tissue but a SANITARY PAD! I GAVE DAVID'S FATHER A SANITARY PAD!!! I GAVE HIM A SA....NI...TA...RY... PAD!!
"Darling, let's go home", his dad said awkwardly. The butterflies flew away and the air pressure was under control. "Just wish for a miracle", David said. At that time, I'm done, again.
So here is one of my spoiled essay that I found in my book. I'm so sorry if I hurt any hearts, but this is truly me when I'm under pressure just like Gwen. I hope u like it and laugh your ass off just like me. Thanks for reading. Leave comment, okay :)
Excuse my hand writing :P
SPENDING PRECIOUS TIMES IN A HEAVEN PLACE WITH ANNOYING BUDDIES IS JUST PERFECT!
After psychotically living in 3 sick weeks of final examinations, we escaped from the reality to Tioman Island, Malaysia. (TOP RANKED in TRIPADVISOR, so it’s a must to visit!)
We planned our trip a month before the date for real. (p/s: husband materials. Tell your mama now!!! Hehehe…). We chose to get services from an agent, RAHA LEGACY HOLIDAYS SDN BHD.
HERE ARE SOME REVIEW ABOUT OUR AGENT: For us and from my personal point of view, the service was tiptop but what I saw in the feedback on their page by the customers were so disturbing. Some of the customer complained about their information service, they claimed that the staff were late-responded to their email and questions. Peeps, we must understand both side which the agent needs to deal with the people in the island that live with low connection of internet. Plus, the process of screening the rooms available also need some time. Not only taht, if we ask for a package, have they needed to deal with some other people, for example, the snorkeling people to schedule your vacation. So, just be patient and chill. Like us, we just proceeded as what being told by the agent even though, yes the reply was quite late but the process of our reservation was smooth and both parties were happy. One more, every time I called them, they answered me promptly. Nice! So here I would like to promote RAHA LEGACY HOLIDAYS SDN BHD. to your guys, my readers. They are good and affordable, trust me. I’ve experienced it hahahahahah…
So, we picked STANDARD QUAD SHARING package at DAMAI TIOMAN RESORT which is located at Kampung Genting, Tioman Island. It’s only RM 390 per person. EXPENSIVE? Read until my last words in this post before make any conclusion.
What we get by paying RM390?
2 ways ferry ticket, a standard quad sharing room, 2 breakfast, 2 lunch, 1 dinner, 1 BBQ night and also a day of snorkeling in 3 different places. (Inclusive gears)
A night before Day 1:
Just so you know, we are studying in MMU MELAKA, we took an Uber from MMU to Melaka Central then a bus to Mersing Bus station and arrived at 9 pm. No worry dudes, there is a lot of motel offers Budget Room for bujang-er like us. I think I still keep the receipt, one second… Yes! MUARA INN, Mersing, Johore, costed only RM 60 for 2 single beds.
8:00 A.M is our departure time but we need to be at the jetty an hour earlier. The ticket was only RM35 for adult, (sorry, I couldn’t remember the child price). It took 2 hours more or less to reach Kampung Genting which is the first stop, so don’t miss it! No worry, they’ll announce it.
What a shock awaited us when we reached there! Instead of the cozy place we knew so well based on Mr. Google, the air, the sand, the sky, the breeze, all were so relieving. It was an unbelievable sight to behold. We have made the right choice!
Food!! Food!! Food!!
Damai Tioman Resort served the best. Our first lunch was so authentic yet truly village-like dishes. It totally reminded us to our hometown hm...
We were giving time to suit ourselves in the evening, because tomorrow will be soooooooooooo tiring or in the other words, it’s time to be tanned!
We were informed that we can see the coral just in front of our chalet. Dayum nice, shaky legs, sweaty hand, half boiled head… Let’s go!!! But we are penakut sebenarnya, so we asked for abang guard to guide us hahahahahaha…
Some people say that beginners have all the luck; others claim that success comes only with practices. So, the first time I jumped into the sea with life jacket and the snorkeling equipment, I tried to swim to the deeper edge, I almost sank. In addition to that, I had to bear the choking taste of salt water running into all the opening of my body. Since I’m wearing the goggle, my eyes were not smarted but my nose felt awful because of the sea water came into my air-tight goggle. I tried to calm myself and enjoy the consequences while my friends… yeah they left me behind… *sigh, I love my buddies. If that as what is known as “beginner’s luck”, I would have none of it. Dude, I can swim but I never try the snorkel gears, that’s all.
(I’m so sorry, I want to upload some video but I can’t. I don’t know what the problem is)
Sorry, I don’t have the picture of the coral, but believe me, it’s AMERZING. At night, I don’t remember what we eat but still great!!! Lepaking at the beach, enjoying the breeze then sleep. Ready for tomorrow, snorkeling at 9 AM.
DAMAI TIOMAN ISLAND; the foods are delicious and superb, the place is just nice, hygiene and good and the staff are extremely friendly!!!! We just love it to the moon and back. Nice place to stay in Tioman Island!! They also have free karaoke at night y'all!!
Guess what, the snorkeling was postponed to 2 PM because of a family that just arrived on 11 AM, but gratefully the informed us earlier at 8 AM. So what did we do? Practice snorkel until 11 and get tanned at the beach then had our lunch.
(ONE MORE THING! If we go at 9 AM, they will pack our lunch and bring it with us, so we may have your lunch on the boat in the middle of the sea. Nice ha?)
(ONE MORE THING! If we go at 9 AM, they will pack our lunch and bring it with us, so we may have your lunch on the boat in the middle of the sea. Nice ha?)
First stop, MARINE PARK, unfortunately it wasn’t as we expected, we assumed that there is a sea of coral but just a few of them and some fishes. Not enough to make us impress but still good because the water is crystal clear and some beautiful fishes appeared and swam with us. Huhuhu.
Ismail was struggling back there hahahaa
Second stop, RENGGIS ISLAND. If just now the coral that I mentioned above is AMERZING, but this time it’s the best of God creations. We were astounded, stunned, mesmerized, surprised and ALMOST cry when we saw the rainbow-like color corals that exist there. I lost my words to described, just take a look at the pictures.
Thanks to Izzat for sacrificing his S7 Edge for all these pictures. :)
You know what, we saw something that should not be seen there. A baby White Tip Shark just came out from nowhere, swimming around us. Aiman came out with one simple equation that scared our butt off. If there is a baby, there must be his mom somewhere. I still can imagine how rush were we swimming back to the boat for real, and of course more sea water came into my mouth. Thanks Aiman for reminding us that we may be in the shark-infested area, but fortunately the guider said that the White Tip Shark here do not eat human. Fuhhh…
Third stop, TOMOK ISLAND, we exchanged it with duty free shop because we don’t want to go there. Hahahahha… a level below RENGGIS ISLAND because this island mostly lived by TERUMBU KARANG which are quite pale but enormous and big and huge and entah lah… tapi still lawa la.. serious serious !!!!
Not just that, we also learnt WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU GET PRICKED BY SEA URCHIN (LANDAK LAUT)? Hahahahahha....
The thorn can’t be taken out because it’s gel-like thorn, so you need to break it down. Take any hard thing, for example, the breath pipe which is your snorkeling gears, hit the pricked places until it’s bleeding. That’s all we learnt hahaha… the consequence is you CAN’T have a good sleep on that night. Susah nak tidurlah senang cerita.
This is our BBQ Dinner!!!!
(makan sambil bergoyang sebab mabuk laut tadi hahahaha)
Woke up as early as 5:30 AM, set up our goods and waited for our ferry on 7:00 AM then went back home… happily.
BUT NOT FOR ME… I went to Ismail’s house to continue my journey to Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysia capital city. Do you want me to share my first time in KL? How perak and jakun I was? And how I get bullied and tricked by them in the middle of the city? I bet you guys really want to read that. I’ll write about it later. Peace out!!
So here I concluded, travelling with buddies is the best time ever and ever hmmm… I couldn’t imagine if I don’t have them in my life. Yeah, they are so annoying and irritating. I often get bullied, but they are my friends and my family. Thanks pals for everything. Next time kita plan pergi Kundasang pula okay! #moneyfly #duitbolehcari!
Remind me not to forget to remember these moments.
